Video Producer

Potential Church has an immediate opening for a fulltime Video Producer to join our Video Team. We’re looking for someone with a heart for telling great stories and the ability to take a project from pre-production to final delivery.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Extensive experience with Adobe CS/CC production software, including Premiere and Audition
  • Experience with DSLR-based and/or large-sensor type camera
  • Familiar with audio capture, editing and mixing techniques and equipment
  • Comfortable with content delivery technology and codecs

Connect Director/Pastor

YOU WILL:

  • Oversee the growth and development of the Connect Ministry at the Cooper City Campus, as well as globally at all other Potential Church locations
  • Protect the vision of Potential Church and communicate that vision to all staff and volunteers that you lead
  • Create and maintain a global Connect Group ministry structure
  • Oversee and train Connect Group leadership team, coaches and leaders
  • Recruit new connect leaders and coaches
  • Create proper curriculums to challenge and inspire Connect Groups to reach their God potential

Sr. Staff Accountant

YOU WILL:

  • Be responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze, maintain and prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements
  • Ensure appropriate accounting procedures are in place
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of all accounts (i.e. checking, savings, credit cards and investments)
  • Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenue and expenses
  • Prepare financial reports for monthly board meetings and bi-monthly church meetings

YOU WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Providing executive pastors, ministry leaders and directors a month-end financial report
  • Ensuring capital purchases are properly recorded and capitalized
  • Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts
  • Reviewing purchase requisitions to verify proper account charged and correct approvals prior to processing payment
  • Supervising volunteers
  • Ensuring timely filing of all tax forms

YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant work experience

Children’s Ministry Director/Pastor

YOU WILL:

  • Oversee the growth and development of Potential Church’s Kids Ministry, as well as the church’s global campuses
  • Plan and execute weekend Potential Kids services with excellence and passion
  • Recruit, train and develop a full volunteer team to help ensure that each ministry within Potential Kids is properly staffed on the weekends
  • Plan and execute yearly VBS/Kids Camp attracting hundreds of children
  • Manage budgets, maintain open communication with parents and set the example for kids, staff and volunteers to follow
  • Communicate the vision of Potential Church to all volunteers who serve under the ministry

PERSONALITY:

  • You must love children and love being around them. A lot.
  • You must act their age as much as possible
  • You must be able to stay full of energy throughout the weekend, keeping up with very active children who have had way too much sugar

Administrative Assistant

We’re looking for a sharp, highly organized individual, who can provide administrative support to one of our ministry teams.

We’re looking for a web designer with a great eye for design and the wits to match. This highly talented individual will work closely with the Senior Designer and Communications Director on all things web and social media.

  • Have a 4-year degree in graphic design. This shows us you put in time learning your craft
  • 5+ years experience in a professional web design or graphic design role

Technical Director

To oversee all live service technology in an energetic, spontaneous , creative , multi-site church environment. From Camera Shot framing, iMag , Lower thirds, video switching to audio mix and lighting design ; The technical director will be responsible for the technical execution of our weekend services at our Cooper CIty Campus. This person will strive for consistent execution and will settle for nothing less than excellence and attention to detail. The technical director will bring technical oversight to our 7 video venues and expertise to our international TV show. In addition – we are seeking for a technical director who will assist in a gradual transition to full digital and HD broadcast.

Preferred expertise in order of priority:

  • Live Video Production
  • Lighting Production
  • Audio Production

Principle Responsibilities:
50% Technical
It is the primary responsibility of the Technical Director to provide leadership, direction, and technical support to the various Production Department Directors, e.g., audio, lighting, video, etc. The Technical Director shall be responsible for the technical systems and overall technical execution of the weekend services and other events as directed.

The Technical Director will accomplish this by:

  • Management of volunteer schedules through Planning Center Online
  • Maintenance of audio, video, and lighting systems
  • Purchase, allocation, and maintenance of equipment resources
  • Maintaining relationships with key vendors
  • Measurement: Overall quality of production as evaluated by the Worship Pastor and creative team.

30% Team Building:

  • To recruit, schedule, train, and mentor volunteers
  • Measurement: All volunteer positions filled and a consistently growing, healthy team.

20% Consultancy and Technical Support to Other Ministries:

  • On occasion the Technical Director will be called upon to provide technical advise, and/or support to teams at other campuses or other ministries
  • Measurement: Timeliness and effectiveness in completing tasks as assigned

YOU WILL:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of all events hosted at Potential Church’s Cooper City Campus
